Anthony Village Planning Board was called to order by the acting chairman, Joe Rosinek. T—resent : Rosinsk, Skovran, Rocks, Coulter , DiCarlo, Hansen Absent: Dougherty Joe Stroncele appeared to have the final plait of Jolson Terrace Plat 2 approved by the Planning Board. Moved by DiCarlo, seconded by Skovran to approve the final plat of Jolson Terrace, Plat 2, subject to approval of the utilities companies and the Village Attorney. Motion Carried. 'The purpose of the special meeting was to review the data presented at the zoning hearing held January 21, 1963, and pre- pare a recommendation to the Village Council. Ar-ter a lengthy discussion it was moved by DiCarlo to re- zone the area cast of Silver Lake Road and crest of Penrod sane from Silver Lane sout-h to the existing € ultiple (telling zoning • beginning with Lot 7, Block 7, Motuids View Acres, Second Addn. This area to be zoned commercial but cyith certain limitations. Also the area east of Penrod Lase to remain residential single faprii The motion was reviewed and discussed. The point was made that the motion would result 3n rezoning said area to a non- existant classification. It was resolved to create a nezy classi- fication which would be called B-1, Limited Business. This class ification would be wade part of Ordinance #66 by amendment. In view of this fact. Pyr. DiCarlo withdrew the original motion. It was then moved by flocks and seconded by Coulter to signify the Board' s intent to rezone the area in question to 3-1, Limited Business, as soon as this now classification is made part of the zoning ordinance #66. :Motion Carried. The Board then reviewed the Dahlgren report for this area and felt that the proposed 9-1 zoning classification needed some modification. 'Tare, Board, with the help of the Village Attorney, is to prepare a proposal of restrictions for the 3-1 zoning and present it to the Co mn oil by February 12, 1963. Upon the approval of the Council, a hearing will be held to obtain the feeling of the involved properi-y mmnniers as to the practicability of the new classifications.
