PLANNING BOARD MINUTES
June 17, 1963
The special meeting of the St. Anthony Village Planning Board was called
to order by the Chairman at 7:30 P.M.
Present: Dougherty, Coulter, Hansen, DiCarlo, Rocks
Absent: Rosinek, Skovran
Mr. Mahlon Sandberg presented the proposed plans of World Wide, Inc. for
construction of en automatic archery range on Silver Lake Road and Silver Lane.
Moved by DiCarlo, seconded by Coulter to approve the final plans of World
Wide, Inc. as presented sub,. ect to the approval of the building inspector.
All in favor, motion carried.
The Board examined the portion of proposed Trunk Highway #8 within the
limits of St. Anthony Village. Questions were raised which could only be an-
swered by the State Highway Dept.. The Secretary of the Board was instructed
to contact the State Highway Dept. and request that a representative of the
Highway Dept. attend the regular July, 1963 meeting and explain the project.
The Chairman stated that some of the merchants in the St. Anthony Shopping
Center are concerned about the traffic and parking problem that has been created
by the construction of the public library. The traffic problem was to be worked
out between Mr. Gainsley and Mr. Maher, as stated at the November 19, 1963
Planning Board meeting. The Board suggests that this problem be examined by
the traffic engineer.
Moved by Coulter, seconded by Rocks to adjourn.
All in favor, motion carried.
