Planning r3oard Minutes
June 15, 1965
• 1 . CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the St. Anthony Village Planning Board was
called to order by Chairman Coulter at 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday, June 15, 1965.
2. ROLL CALL
The following members were present at roll call.

Also present were the Secretary and Village Building Inspector.
3. MINUTES
Upon motion by Mesenbring , seconded by Sorin er ,
it was moved to approve the minutes of the regular meeting or ray 10, 1965, and
addendum thereto as corrected.
The motion carried.
4. PU3LTC HEARINGS
None
5. PROPE!?TY DIVISIONS
Upon motion by Englund seconded by Springer, it was moved to recommend
Council approval of the division of lots 5 and 6, Block 4, Hiounds View ltcres
Second ',ddition into two 67.51 foot and two 57 foot lots as shown on the
proposed division presented by Kenneth "?enson and to grant a variance from the
minimum lot size requirements as contained in Ordinance No. 66.
Upon motion by Hovjitz, seconded by Englund, it was moved to recommend
Council approval of the Registered Land Survey submitted by Henrick Olson for
division of property on 322 Avenue N. E. and Rankin Road and to grant variance
from the minimum frontage requirements as contained in Ordinance No. 66 from
75 feet to 71 .52 feet.
The motion carried.

6. BUILDING PERMITS
Upon motion by .Howitz seconded by Coulter, it was moved to recommend
approval of the plan submitted by Hickey and Little, Architects, for Apache
Corporation, for construction of a four story medical building within the
Apache Plaza Complex on the northwest corner of their property. Said
recommended approvals subject to approval of a complete landscaping pian, and
a traffic flow and parking layout plan to be considered by the Planning Board
at 7:30 P.M. on Monday, June 21, 1965.
The motion carried with Englund abstaining.
7. OLD BUSINESS
Upon motion by Springer, seconded by Howitz, it was moved to approve a
revision of the minimum area requirements in a multiple dwelling district as
contained in Ordinance No. 66 to read as followss
No MD mu.ltiple .dwetling building shall be constructed or placed on a
lot which is lesser 1-n area than the following minimum area requirements:
12,000 square feet for the first two smallest units plus 2400
square feet for each additional one-bedroom unit, 2700 square feet for
each additional two-bedroom unit, and 3000 square feet for each
additional three-bedroom unit.
In computing area requirements, a maximum depth of 1112 times the frontage
shall be considered. No multiple dwelling building shall be placed on a
lot which is less than 100 feet in width at the building setback line.
It was further moved to instruct the Secretary to request that the
Village attorney prepare a draft of an amendment to Ordinance No. 66 to
accomplish said revision.
The motion carried.
8. MISCELLANEOUS
The Planning Board unanimously requests that the Village Council consider
some means of providing a study of• the entire commerical development along
Kenzie Terrace and possible methods of improving this development with regard
to traffic patterns and future development patterns.
9. ADJOURNMENT
Upon motion by Mesenbring, seconded by Howitz, it was moved to adjourn.
The motion carried.
