PLANNING BOARD MINUTES
October 19, 1965
1. CALL TO ORDER i
The regular meeting of the St. Anthony Village Planning Board was
called to order by Chairman Protem Springer on Tuesday, October 19, 1965,
at 7:30 P.M.

The following members were present at roll call.
Clement Springer
Louis Howitz
Robert Mesenbring
Thomas Englund
Thomas Emond (in at 7:55 p.m.)
Absent:
Thomas Coulter
Peter Di Carlo
Also present was acting Planning Board Secretary James Shaughnessy.
3. MINUTES
,'l Upon motion by Howitz, seconded by Mesenbring, it was moved to waive
reading and to approve minutes of the regular meeting of September 21, 1965.
All in favor. Motion carried.
4a PUBLIC HEARINGS
None
5. ORDINANCE VARIATIONS
A. Chairman Pro—tem SpringeryndVed to table Mr. Dan Burrill requests for
a sign permit on triangular parcel of land (zoned residential) on
Kenzie Terrace between Ste Anthony, Firestone Garage and American
Legion Building, until Mra Burrill appears to present his request.
All in favor. Motion Carried.
B. Mr. John Bogucki of Rodney Billmans Inca appeared and presented a
request to build a house at 3320 Edgemere Avenue N. E., Lot 16,
Block 3, Wilshire Park 3rd Addition. The request indicated a
variance would enable the buyer to face the principal street, which
is in continuity with the existing development. The buyer would like
to avoid facing the house toward Elmwood Church's parking lot„
Upon motion by Howitz, seconded by Mesenbring to recommend to
the council to grant• a 12 foot variance from Chelmsford as requested.

' C. Mr. James Hawks of Midwest Planning and Research presented a proposal
regarding the Kenzie area study. The Board accepted this report and
will take it under advisement. The Planning Board further discussed
potential 701 grants available if an overall comprehensive plan was
considered feasible.
