RESOLUTION 16 -019
A RESOLUTION CALLING A HEARING
FOR THE 2016 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to direction of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village, a report has
been prepared with reference to the improvements:
Street & Utility Reconstruction
• Stinson Boulevard from 37" Avenue NE to Silver Lane NE
Trail and Sidewalk Improvements
8' bituminous trail along west side of Stinson Boulevard between 37'" Place N and 401"
Avenue NE (This is a Columbia Heights improvement)
Salo Park sidewalk replacement
Decorative Lighting
• Stinson Boulevard NE between 37`" Avenue NE and Silver Lane NE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street and utilities in accordance
with the report and the assessment of abutting property for a portion of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of
the improvements of $2,700,000.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on the 8`" day of March
2016, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as
possible, and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvements as required by law.
3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed
improvements to be published twice in the official newspaper at least one week apart
and at least three days prior to the hearing.
