The regular meeting of the Village Council of the- Village of St. Anthony was
called to order by the Mayor at' 03:00 o'clock P.M . on juesday, November 23, 1965.
The Following members were present at roll call :
James McNulty, George Erickson Jr., W. R. Dougherty, Richard Sorenson,
Robert Bailey
also present :
Village Attorney, ''aymond Haik
Village Engineer, Del-'ayne Olsen
Village Manager, John Printon
and the following were absent:

Upon motion by Councilman Bailey seconded by Councilman Dougherty, it was
moved that the reading of the minutes of the regular meeting of November 9, 1965
be waived and that the minutes be approved as submitted.
• The motion carried.
Upon motion by Councilman Bailey, Resclution No. 65-082 was presented for adop-
tion. It was agreed the reading of the resolution be wz ived.
RESOLUTION NO. 65-082
A_RESOLUTION MODIFYING THE 1965 BUDGET
The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Sorenson.
Voting on the resolution:

The resolution was declared adopted.
Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson Resolution No. 65-033 was presented for
adoption. It was agree(! i!iz reading of the resolution be waived.
RESOLUTION NO. 65-083
A RESOLUTION MODIFYING THE 1965 BUDGET AS PERTAINS
TO FUND NO. 70, SEWER FUND.

Upon motion by Councilman Erickson, Resolution No. 65-084 was presented for
adoption. It was aoreed the reading of the resolution be waived.
RESOLUTION NO. 65-0°4
A-RESOLUTION MODIFYING THE 1965 BUDGET AS PERTAINS

RESOLUTION NO. 65-085
• A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING CERTAIN EXPENSES CHARGED
TO THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TO THE STATE AID
ROAD FUWD.
The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Bailey.

Upon motion by Councilman Erickson, Ordinance No. 74 was presented for adoption.
It was agreed the reading of the ordinance be waived.
ORDINANCE 74
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE DISPOSAL OF PRIVATE PROPERTY
COMING INTO THE POSSESSION OF THE VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY
AND REMAINING UNCLAIMED BY THE OWNER.
Tne adoption of the ordinance was duly seconded by Councilman Sorenson.
Voting on the adoption of the ordinance.

RESOLUTION NO., 65-086 -
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT
OF TRUNK HIGH1-1AY #394, RENUMBERED TRUNK HIGHWAY #35L! !dITHIN
THE LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY.
The adoption of the resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Bailey.

The resolution was declared adopted.
Upon motion by Councilman Sorerson, Resolution No. 65-087 was presented for
adoption,
RESOLUTION NO. 65-087
A RESOLUTION AUTiORIZING THE MAYOR & VILLAGE CLERK TO ENTER INTO
AN AGREEMENT WITH THE MINNEAPOLIS PARK BOARD CONVEYING THAT POR-
TION OF ST. ANTHONY BOULEVARD AS LIES !!ITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS
TO THE VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY.
The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Bailey.
Voting on the resolution.
Aye: McNulty, Erickson, Sorenson, Bailey
Nay: Dougherty
The resolution was declared adopted.
The financial report for the month of October, 1965 was received by the Village
Council .
The Police Department report for the month of October was ordered placed on file.
The meeting was recessed at 9:30 P.M and reconvened at 9:40 P.M.
Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty seconded by Councilman Erickson it was
moved that the transfer of funds from Acct. 474-5-49 to Fund 474-5-39 in the
amount of $300.00 be approved and added to those accounts listed in Res. 65-082.
• The motion carried.

Upon motion by Councilman Bailey seconded by Councilman Sorenson it was moved
that the request of Leo Hertog for a 5' corner variance and an 8' back yard
variance be granted as follows: divided lot 3 (2- 50' x 159' lots) in half
adding 25 feet to lots 2 and 4, Block 6, Clark & Kings Hennepin Gardens with
a resulting two 75' x 100' lots.
The motion carried.
After discussion, it was moved by Councilman Dougherty seconded by Councilman
Sorenson that the Village Manager be directed to contact the firms of
Midwest Planning; Nason Law Wehrman & Knight Inc.; Hodne Associates Architects
Planners and Ron Kalashetski, Section 701 Planning Coordination Office in
regard to an early December meeting to discuss Village Planning and that a date
be set convenient to the Planning Board and Village Council .
The motion carried.
Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty seconded by Councilman Sorenson it was
moved that the specifications for one police car be approved and that the
Village Manager be directed to advertise for bids.
• The motion carried.
Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty seconded by Councilman Sorenson it was
moved that the request of Minneapolis Gas Company to dig test holes and repair
lines in the vicinity of 35th and Harding Street, as per plans submitted,
be approved.
The motion carried.
The Village Attorney was requested to contact Planning Consultants relative
to testifying in Century Capital suit, pending, and report to the Village
Council on recommendations.
The Planning Board minutes of November 9, 1965 were ordered placed on file.
Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Councilman Bailey it was moved
that the properly verified claims be paid.
The motion carried.
Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Councilman Dougherty it was
moved that the meeting be adjourned.
The motion carried.
