Introductions Consultants Bill Weber and Suzanne Rhees will be present from the firm of BRW. 2. Over view of the Plan (by BRW) • Purpose and Use of the plan • Contents • Schedule of Milestones and Meetings • Role of the Staff, Planning Commission, City Council and Members of the Public • Metropolitan Council Requirements (generally) Questions and discussion. 3. Exercises to Identify Preliminary Planning Issues and Concerns Two exercises will be led by Bill Weber and Suzanne Rhees to elicit ideas from the members present: 1. Nominal group technique to identify the strengths,weaknesses, opportunities and threats of/to the City of St. Anthony 2. Nominal group technique to identify items that officials and staff would like to see the planning process address and resolve. These should be stated in the form of questions (e.g.,what should the City do, if anything, to respond to the changing demographic profile of the community?). These two exercises will take about 60-90 minutes. •
