RESOLUTION NO. 65 - 006
! RESOLUTION DISAPPROVING M.S.H.D. PLANS
FOR T.H. #35W THROUGH A PORTION OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE
Mayor McNulty introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of St.
Anthony as follows:
WHEREAS the Minnesota State Highway Department has requested
that the St. Anthony Village Council consider the preliminary plans
identified as Layout No. IOA, S.P. 2783-03 (35W + 394), 6284-25 (35W = 394)
from 0.2 miles east of Stinson Boulevard in Minneapolis to St. Stephens
Street in Roseville, and
WHEREAS said final plans indicate that St. Anthony Boulevard will
be re-routed so as not to permit direct ingress and egress from the east
to St. Anthony Village,
WHEREAS such re-routing would affect past and future land use in
the Village of St. Anthony,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Council of the
Village of St. Anthony disapproves said final plans until such time as an
access between St. Anthony Boulevard and State Highway No. 280 passing
under Highway 35W can be obtained, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village of St. Anthony hereby re-
quests a hearing before an impartial body allowing St. Anthony the
opportunity to express reasons for said disapproval of plan and to attempt
to secure ingress and egress from St. Anthony to the east via St. Anthony
Boulevard.
The foregoing resolution was seconded by Trustee Dougherty.

Aye: McNulty, Dougherty, Bailey, Sorenson
Nay: None
Absent, not voting: Erickson
WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
