MONTHLY AND COUNCIU10AN AT $35.00 i'v1ONTHLY
WHEREjA\S, the Village Council of the Village of St. Anthony, Minnesota,
considers it a public duty and a high privilege to serve on elective office and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Village of St. Anthony, Minnesota
consider the statutory salaries for the mayor and councilman to be greater than the amount
r�:guired to attract public spirited citizens to run for the office of Village Mayor or
Village Trustee, and
WHEREAS, the 1965 budget of the Villagc of St. t`,nthony has funds
appropriated to pay salaries in the amount of $50.00 monthly to the mayor and $35.00
monthly to each councilman,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of St. Anthony hereby
sets the salary of the mayor at $50.00 monthly and the salary of each councilman at
$35.00 monthly in conformity with M.S.A. 412.181.
