RESOLUTION No. 65 - 028
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ?NDUCTION OF FLUORIDE INTO THE MUNICIPAL
WATER, SYSTEM
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of St.
Ani S,ar•; ns follows:
WHEREAS the Village Council has considered the matter of
fluoridating the municipal water supply, and
WHEREAS the Village Council has held public meetings at which
the facts for and against fluoridation were presented to the Council,
and
YHEREAS the equipment used to automatically induce the proper
amount of fluoride into the raw water is already in place and ready
for operation for Wells No. 3 & 4,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Council hereby
authorizes the Village Manager to put said fluoridation equipment
into operation and induce tha proper amount of the fluoride chemical
into the water supply to maintain the proper residual at the
extremities of the water lines as prescribed by the Minnesota State
Department of Health as soon as practicable and without unnecessary
'ueIay.
