RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING BIDS FOR STREET
IMPROVEMENT 7417-65-2
WHEREAS the Village Council of the Village of St. Anthony has determined
that certain streets within the Village should be improved, and;
4JHEREAS Resolution No. 65-044 ordered plans for Street Improvement
7417-65-2, (being Silver Lake Court from Silver Lane to Silver Lake Road), and
WHEREAS Resolution No. 65-054 ordered plans for Street Improvement
7420-65-2 and combined said improvement with Street Improvement 7417-65-2,
(being Anthony Lane from 29th Avenue N. E. to the East Corporate Limits), and
VIHEREAS said plans and specifications have been prepared by the Village
Consulting Engineers, Comstock and Davis, Inc. and reviewed by the Village
Council.

NMI THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of St. Anthony
Village, that the plans and specifications for Street Improvement 7417-65-2,
a copy of which are on file with the Village Clerk are hereby approved. The
Village Manager shall prepare and publish as required by law an advertisement
for bids upon the making of said improvements in accordance with the approved
plans and specifications, which advertisement shall specify the work to be
done and shall state that bids will be opened by the Village Manager and
Engineer on Monday, August 9, 1965, at 12:00 noon in the Council Chambers.
The bids will be tabulated and considered by the Village Council at 8:00 P.M.
on Tuesday, August 10, 1965. No bids will be considered unless sealed and
filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid
bond, or certified check payable to the Clerk for five per cent of the amount
of the bid.

Minutes of 1965 Board of Review Meeting
June 29, 1965
• 1 . CALL TO ORDER
The special meeting of the Village Council sitting as the 1965 Board of
Review was called to order by Mayor McNulty at 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday, June 29,
1965.
2. ROLL CALL
The following members were present:
Robert Bailey
W. R. Dougherty
George Erickson
James H. McNulty
Richard Sorenson
Also present were the Village Manager, Village Assessor, and the County
Supervisor of Assessments, Wayne Johnson.
The purpose of the special meeting of the Village Council was to review
the Real and Personal Property assessments made by the Village Assessor in
St. Anthony Village, Hennepin County.
The notice of the Board of Review meeting was given by the Village Clerk
in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 1961, Section 274.01.
The Village Assessor and County Supervisor of Assessments explained the
duties of the Village Council as it sits as the Local Board of Review and the
Village Assessor explained the entries in the Real and Personal Property Record.
No Village property owners were present to discuss any of the values sub-
mitted by the Assessor.
The Village Assessor noted a letter received from Snyder Brothers Drug
Store requesting that the 1965 Value remain the same as the value submitted by
the Assessor in 1964. After discussion of the method of assessment of Snyder
Bros. Drugstore in 1965 as compared to the assessment of other personal property
within the tax district the Board determined that the value submitted by the
Village Assessor was a fair and equatible value.
Upon Order of Mayor McNulty the Village Assessor was instructed to attend
the 1965 Ramsey County Board of Review meeting to obtain information regarding
the method of assessment of Real and Personal Property within St. Anthony
Village, Ramsey County.
Upon motion by Councilman Bailey, seconded by Councilman Dougherty, it was
moved to accept the 1965 Real and Personal Property assessed values as submitted
by the Village Assessor with no changes.
The motion carried unanimously.
• Upon notion by Councilman Bailey, seconded by Councilman Sorenson, it was
moved to adjourn.
The motion carried unanimously.
