RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING BIDS FOR
INSTALLATION OF WATER TREATMENT EQUIPMENT AT WELL NO. 5
WHEREAS the Village Council of the Village of St. Anthony has, with the
aid of a study prepared by a hydrologist, determined that certain treatment
facilities are necessary at Village Well No. 5, and;
WHEREAS Resolution No. 65-053 ordered final plans and specifications for
installation of these treatment facilities, and;
WHEREAS said plans and specifications have been prepared by the Village
Consulting Engineers, Comstock and Davis, Inc., and reviewed by the Village
Council .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of St. Anthony
. Village, that Plans and Specifications For Installation Of Water Treatment
Facilities At Well No. 5, a copy of which are on file with the Village Clerk,
are hereby approved. The Village Manager shall prepare and publish as re-
quired by law an advertisement for bids upon the making of said improvements
in accordance with the approved plans and specifications, which advertisement
shall specify the work to be done and shall state that bids will be opened by
the Village Manager and Engineer on Monday, August 9, 1965 at 12:00 noon in the
Council Chambers. The bids will be tabulated and considered by the Village
Council at 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 10, 1965. No bids will be considered
unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit,
cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the Clerk for five
per cent of the amount of the bid.
