RESOLUTION N0. 65-080
A RESOLUTION JOINING THE VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY WITH THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE
UNDER SECTION 115.49 MINNESOTA STATUTES ANNOTATED, REQUESTING A PUBLIC HEARING
BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. PAUL ON THE PRESENT SEWER RATE
CHARGES.
Councilman Sorenson offered the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
WHEREAS, the Village of Roseville has negotiated with the City of St.
Paul for adjustment of the contract for the disposal of sanitary sewage wastes;
and,
WHEREAS, said negotiations have not been successful and the Village of
Roseville has requested a public hearing before the City Council of St. Paul,
Minnesota, in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 115.49; and,
WHEREAS, the Village Council of St. Anthony believes that the sewage
rates charged to St. Anthony Village by the City of St. Paul are excessive and
should be adjusted, and said Village of St. Anthony being an interested third
party in the proceeding initiated by the Village of Roseville;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village
of St. Anthony as follows:
1 . The Village of St. Anthony does hereby join in the proceeding
instituted by the Village of Roseville under Section 115.49, Minnesota
Statutes Annotated, as indicated by Resolution No. 1287 of the Village of
Roseville passed August 9, 1965, and requests a public hearing before the
City Council of the City of Saint Paul upon the present contract with the
. City of Saint Paul for the disposal of sanitary sewage wastes.
2. The Clerk of the Village of St. Anthony is hereby instructed to
forward certified copies of this resolution to the City Clerk of the City of
Saint Paul and the Village Clerk of the Villages of Roseville, Shoreview and
Arden Hills.
The resolution was seconded by Councilman Bailey and the voting was
as follows:

'.here being 4 Yeas and No Nays, the resolution was declared adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the Clerk for the Village of St. Anthony,
do hereby certify that the above resolution is a true and correct extract of
the minutes of the regular meeting of the St. Anthony Village Council held on
the 26th day of October, 1965.
