• RESOLUTION NO. 66-029
RESOLUTION URGING THE MINNESOTA LEGISLATURE TO
INCLUDE ALL OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE IN A LEGISLATIVE
DISTRICT THAT IS IDENTIFIED WITH THE COUNTY OF
HENNEPIN,
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Legislature is considering bills to apportion
legislative districts, and,
WHEREAS the Tillage of St. Anthony consists of land located in the
county of Ramsey, and in the County of Hennepin; and
WHEREAS, the Village of St. Anthony has had a traditional identificat-
ion and community interest with the Northeast portion of Hennepin County, which
would be destroyed by a legislative apportionment that would identify the Village
of St . Anthony with another area,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Council of St. Anthony
Village urge the Minnesota Legislature to include St. Anthony Village in a
legislative district that is identified with the County of Hennepin and to
• provide for the inclusion of all of the lands of St. Anthony Village, including
the Ramsey County lands, in the new legislative district.
