RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION
OF PLANS FOR THE STINSON BOULEVARD SEGMENT OF
THE IMPROVEMENT AND CONTINUING HEARING AS TO
SILVER LAKE AND COUNTY DITCH 3 SEGMENT OF THE
DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT.
Stinson Boulevard and Silver Lake Drainaqe Improvement
W EREAS, A resolution of the Village Council adopted April 26, 1966
fixed the date of June 14, 1966 for a hearing on the above improvement; and,
WHEREAS, said hearing was held following published notice and mailed
notice as required by law; and,
WEREAS, all persona desiring to be heard were provided an opportun-
ity to be heard on the- ordering of said improvement;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
1 . The Stinson Boulevard Drainage segment of the improvement prov-
iding for the completion of the cooperative storm drainage system with Columbia
Heights to serve the area designated as District 1 on the Storm Sewer and
Drainage Area Map prepared by the engineer is hereby ordered as proposed in
the resolution of April 26, 1966 and as set forth in the notice of hearing.
2. Comstock and Davis are hereby designated as the engineer for
this improvement and they shall prepare the plans and specifications for the
making of the improvement.
3. The hearing on the Silver Lake outlet and County Ditch 3 segment
of the improvement is hereby continued to the meeting of July 12, 1966 to
allow time for completion of a joint agreement with New Brighton to construct
said improvement and to allow the clerk time to give mailed and published
notice of the adjourned hearing onlaid segment of the improvement to the land-
owners in the area designated as District 2 on the Storm Sewer System and
Drainage Area Map prepared by Comstock and Davis, Village Engineers, and
attached to the engineering report for the 1966 improvements. The clerk shall
give notice to said landowners of the time and place of the adjourned hearing,
and that their lands are liable to be assessed for the costs of the improve-
ment.
