RESOLUTION NO. 66-077
• RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT OF SILVER LAKE
OUTLET AND COUNTY DITCH NO. 3 AND PREPARATION
OF FINAL PLANS ANO SPECIFICATIONS BY THE NEW
BRIGHTON ENGINEER PURSUANT TO JOINT AGREEMENT
WITH THE VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON.
WHEREAS, a resolution of the Village Council adopted April 26, 1966
fixed the date of June 14, 1966 for a hearing on the Silver Lake Outlet and
County Ditch No. 3 drainage improvement; and,
WHEREAS, Following said hearing, it appeared that additional lands
would be benefited by the improvement so that the hearing was adjourned to
July 12, 1966; and,
WHEREAS, by a resolution adopted June 14, 1966, notice of the ad-
journed hearing scheduled for July 12, 1966, was given; and,
WHEREAS, notice by mail and publication of the hearing of June 14,
1966 and July 12, 1966 was given to all persons liable to be assessed for the
cost of the improvement and all persons appearing were provided an opportunity
to be heard on the establishment of the improvement; and,
IIHEREAS, the construction of the improvement required a joint agree-
ment with the Village of New Brighton, said improvement hearing was adjourned
• to November 22, 1966, to allow time for the preparation of an agreement with
the Village of New Brighton; and,
WHEREAS, on November 22, 1966, the Village Council of St. Anthony
approved the joint agreement with the Village of New Brighton authorizing
the improvement of the Silver Lake Outlet and County Ditch No. 3;
NOVI THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that such improvement is ordered as
proposed in the Council Resolution of April 26, 1966, and as provided in the
joint agreement with the Village of New Brighton adopted November 22, 1966,
which agreement designated Milner W. Carley & Associates as the engineer for
this improvement, and he is authorized to prepare the final plans and specif-
ications for the making of such improvement. A copy of this resolution shall
be attached to the joint agreement with the Village of New Brighton provid-
ing for the construction of the improvement.
