41 RESOLUTION NO. 67-016
RESOLUTION URGING ENACTMENT OF H.F. 263 PROVIDING
FOR A COORDINATED PERA-OASI INSURANCE COVERAGE.
WHEREAS, the present employees of the Village of St. Anthony are
covered by the Public Employees Retirement Act, which law does not provide
for coordinated joint coverage with the Federal Old Age Survivors Insurance
Program; and,
1411EREAS, the employees of the Village of St. Anthony should not be
denied the opportunity to be covered under OASI so as to provide this protect-
ion of Social Security coverage for the employees and their families;
N014 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Council of St. Anthony
Village support the enactment of H.F. 263 providing for a coordinated PERA-
OASI insurance program and the legislators be urged to enact such legislation.
