A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL
FOR THE SUPPLEMENTAL ASSESSMENT OF LAND FOR STREET
IMPROVEMENT 7417-65-1
WHEREAS, the Village Council , following the giving of mailed and
published notice as required by law, has met and heard all persons owning land
to be assessed for the cost of Street Improvement 7417-65-1 , as shown by the
assessment roll on file against the lands named thereon, and that each such
parcel of sand is hereby found to be benefitted by the proposed Improvement
in the amount of the supplemental assessment hereby levied against it.
2. Such assessments shall be payable in ten equal annual installments, the
first to be payable on or before the first Monday in January 1968. The assess-
ments shall bear interest at the rate of 6% per anum from the date of the .
adoption of this resolution. To the first installment payment, there shall
be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution
until December 31, 1967. To each subsequent annual installment, there shall
be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments.
3. The owner of any property so assessed may at any time prior to certif-
ication of the assessment to the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assess-
ment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the
• Village Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire
assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution; and
he may at any time thereafter, pay to the County Treasurer, the entire amount
of t1e assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31st, of
the year fn which such payment is made.
4. The clerk shall transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the
County Auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists
of the County, and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the
s ame manner as other Municipal taxes.
