RESOLUTION RECEIVING ENGINEER'S PRELIMINARY
REPORTS ON IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE YEAR 1967
AND CALLING FOR HEARINGS ON THE IMPROVEMENTS.
Pursuant to a resolution of the Village Council adopted March 28,
1967, reports have been prepared by the Village Engineer, Comstock and Davis,
advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improve-
ments are feasible, how they are best accomplished, and the estimated costs.
The reports cover the following improvements:
Sanitary Sewer - Silver Lane from Soo Line Railway to Oakwood Drive.
Sidewalk Improvements-
Item I . 33rd Avenue N.E. from Stinson Boulevard to the St. Anthony
High School - permanent surfacing.
Item 2. Stinson Boulevard from 37th Avenue to Silver Lane - concrete
road, curb and gutter.
Item 3. Silver Lane from Oakwood Drive to Silver Lake Road - joint
improvements with New Brighton to provide permanent surfacing, concrete curb
• and gutter.
Item 4. Penrod Lane from 39th Avenue to Silver Lane - temporary
street surfacing, and storm sewer catch basins and leads.
Item 5. St. Anthony Boulevard from Stinson Boulevard to Silver Eake
Road - curb and gutter, permanent surfacing, and ornamental lighting.
Item 6. St. Anthony Boulevard from Silver'.Lake Road to East Village
limits - bituminous surfacing.
The Above improvement reports were received by the Council on May 1 ,
1967.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council consider said improv-
ements in accordance with the engineer 's reports and will assess the cost
thereof against lands benefited in the manner provided by Minnesota Statutes
Section 429.051 to Section 429.081 and that said Council hold a public hearing
on the proposed improvements on June 6, 1967 in the St. Anthony High School
Auditorium at 8:00 P.M.
The Clerk shall give published and mailed notice of the hearing on .
theimprovements to the landowners liable to be assessed for the costs.
