RESOLUTION NO. 67-043
RESOLUTION DECLARING THE EXISTENCE OF AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has reviewed the conditions of the
mechanical eqiupment and controls at the Harding St. sewage lift station, and
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has made certain recommendations to
the Village Council regarding the correction of said conditions, and
WHEREAS, as a result of the failure of the Marding St. lift station•.
mechanical equipment and controls nearby residents basements have been flooded
with sewage on several occasions, and
UsH EREAS, it is imperative that the aforementioned equipment and
controls be replaced as expeditiously as possible,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village Council of the Village
• of St. Anthony hereby declares an emergency to exist and approves the purchase
and installation of sewage lift station pumps and controls for the Harding St.
Lift Station as proposed by the Village engineer in the amount of $4,981.00.
