RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT OF 33RD AVENUE
A resolution of the Village Council adopted March 26, 1968, fixed the
date of April 23, 1968, for a hearing on the improvement of 33rd Avenue from
Stinson Boulevard to St. Anthony Village High School . The improvement
consists of installation of concrete curbing, gutter and a permanent surfacing
of the street together with installation of a storm sewer drainage system.
The hearing was held following published and mailed notice as required
by law, and all persons desiring to be heard were provided an opportunity
to be heard on the ordering of the improvement. Following the hearing on
April 23, 1968, the hearing was continued to May 14, 1968, to await receipt
of bids to determine the actual cost of undertaking the improvement. The
Council , prior to ordering the improvement, requested the Village engineer
to prepare final plans and specifications and to obtain bids in order to be
certain as to the total cost of the improvement.
WHEREAS the bids have been received and substantially correspond with
the estimated cost of the project as decided by the engineer.
N%J THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that :
• 1 . The improvement of 33rd Avenue from Stinson Boulevard to the
St. Anthony Village High School be and it is hereby ordered as proposed in
the resolution of March 26, 1968, and in the engineer's report as set forth
in the notice of the hearing for the imprvoement. The final plans and spec-
ifications for the improvement as prepared by Comstock and Davis, Village
Engineer, are hereby approved.
