RESOLUTION NO. 69-024
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SETTLEMENT
OF A TAX CLAIM RY THE STATE OF MINNESOTA,
AND APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF THE NECESSARY
FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has filed a claim in District Court for
certain propane gas taxes in the amount of $6,321.67 including penalty, and
WHEREAS, the Village attorney through negotiations has recommended a
settlement in the amount of $4,352. 17, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to provide funds for the settlement of said
claim,
N0V1 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village attorney be authorized
to settle the aforementioned claim in the amount of $4,352. 17, and that said sum
be transferred from Account No. 495, Contingency Fund, to Account No. 425-33,
Transportation, Motor Fuel .
