RESOLUTION NO 69-026
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A SPECIAL
ELECTION AND THE FORM OF THE BALLOT
WHEREAS, urban development of the land area of the Village
of St. Anthony is rapidly occurring; and,
WHEREAS, there is little open space land remaining which is sus-
ceptible to development for park and recreational purposes; and,
NOIR! THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a special election be held
at the Parkview Elementary School on Tuesday, August 26, 1969, from
12 :01 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. to submit to the voters the following proposi-
tion calling for the issuance of general obligation bonds of the Village
of St. Anthony. The proceeds from the sale of such bonds shall be used
and available for parkland acquisition.
PROPOSED BALLOT
Shall the Village of St. Anthony issue general obligation
• bonds in an aggregate amount not exceeding $180,000.00 for the purchase
and development of park and recreational lands?
YES NO
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the clerk prepare the necessary
ballots and give posted and published notice of the special election as
required by law.
Adopted this 10th day of June , 1969.
