HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 69-045 RESOLUTION ADOPTING SUPPLEMENTAL ASSESSMENT FOR STREET AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT 1952-1 Meeting Sheet IIIIIIVIIIVIIIVIIIVIIIVIIIIIIIIIII 105047 Box: 34 Folder: CC RES 1969 Document: CC RES 69-045 RESOLUTION ADOPTING SUPPLEMENTAL ASSESSMENT FOR STREET AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT 1952-1 • RESOLUTION NO. 69-o45 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING SUPPLEMENTAL ASSESSMENT FOR STREET AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT 1952-1 WHEREAS, pursuant to mailed and published notice as required by law, the St. Anthony Village Council has met, heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed supplemental assessment for Street & Storm Sewer Improvement 1952-1; NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED: 1. The proposed supplemental assessment for the above-named improvement, a copy of which is attached and made a part of this resolution by reference, is hereby accepted and adopted and the same shall constitute the supplemental special assessment against each of the lands described therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the municipal improvement in the amount of the special assessment levied against the lands for each improve- ment. 2. The supplemental assessments shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 5 years straight, the first installment plus accrued interest to be payable on or before the first Monday in January,1971, and said supplemental assessment shall bear interest at the rate of seven per cent • per annum from the date of the adoption of this resolution. To the first install- ment shall be added interest on the entire supplemental assessment from the date of this resolution until November 15, 1971. To each subsequent installment, when due, shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. 3. The owner of any property herein assessed may at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor pay the whole of the supplemental assessment on such property with interest accrued to the Village Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days of the adoption of this resolution. The owner may at any time thereafter pay to the County Treasurer the entire amount of the assessment re- maining unpaid with interest accrued to November 15 of the year in which such payment is made. 4. The clerk shall transmit a certified duplicate of the assessment to the County Auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists of the county, and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal real property taxes.
