A RESOLUTION REQUESTING AN EXTENSION FOR
SUBMISSION OF ST. ANTHONY'S LOCAL PLANNING
ASSISTANCE GRANT APPLICATION
Whereas, the City of St. Anthony is required to conform to the
Metropolitan Land Planning Act, and
Whereas, the City intends to conform to that requirement, and
Whereas, the Metropolitan Council is providing grant funds for
the purpose of conforming to the Act, and
Whereas, the City intends to apply for such grant funds but will
not be able to do so until after October 23, 1977, the deadline for
submission of said application, due to staff limitations and to pro-
vide adequate review of planning proposals, and
Whereas , the Metropolitan Council 's application guidelines pro-
vide for application extensions.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the City Council of the City
of St. Anthony does hereby request that an application deadline ex-
tension be granted until December 23, 1977.
The City Clerk is also hereby directed to send a certified copy
of this resolution to the Chairman.
Adopted this 11th day of October 1977.
