RESOLUTION 77-063
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR A COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING
GRANT TO THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL
Whereas, the Metropolitan Land Planning ,Act mandated comprehen-
sive planning by local units of government in the metropolitan area,
and
Whereas, the City intends to conform to that requirement, and
Whereas, funds are available to the City to defray part of the
cost of such planning, and
Whereas, the City Council desires to obtain such funds.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the City Manager is hereby
authorized to submit a grant application to the Metropolitan Council
with a total budget for such planning not to exceed $8 , 747. 00 ,
pursuant to previous Council action.
