RESOLUTION 91-023
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED PROGRAM FOR YEAR VII
URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING ITS SUBMITTAL
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony, through execution of a Joint Cooperation Agreement
with Hennepin County, is a cooperating unit in the Urban Hennepin County
Community Development Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony has developed a proposal for the use of Urban
Hennepin County CDBG funds made available to it, following a public
hearing on April 23, 1991 to obtain the views of citizens on local and Urban
Hennepin County housing and community development needs and the City's
following proposed use of $28,457.00 from the Year VII Urban Hennepin
County Community Development Block Grant.
Projects Budget
Senior Citizens Program $ 4,268.00
Single Family Housing Rehabilitation (low-moderate income) $ 7,000.00
Kenzie Terrace Sidewalk Project $17,189.00
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony approves the proposed
use of Year VII Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant funds and
authorizes submittal of the proposal to Hennepin County Citizens Advisory Committee and
for inclusion in the Year VII Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block
Grant Program Statement of Objectives and Projected Use of Funds.
