RESOLUTION 91-041
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID IN THE MATTER OF
CHANDLER DRIVE CONCRETE PAVEMENT REHABILITATION
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of Chandler Drive
from County Road D to Foss Road, bids were received, opened and tabulated
according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement:
Progressive Contractors, Inc. $155,713.00
Thomas and Sons Construction, Inc. $1601830.50
Advance Concrete, Inc. $166,773.50
Palda and Sons, Inc. $168,976.51
WHEREAS, it appears that Progressive Contractors, Inc. of Osseo,Minnesota, is the lowest
responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of St. Anthony, Minnesota
• 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the contract with Progressive Contractors, Inc. of Osseo, Minnesota, in
the name of the City of St. Anthony for the improvement of Chandler Drive
according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council and on
file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except the deposits of the successful
bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been
signed.
