RESOLUTION 91-046
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID IN THE MATTER OF
KENZIE TERRACE SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of Kenzie Terrace
sidewalk, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
R & D Enterprises, Inc. $17,055.00
Joseph Construction of St. Paul, Inc. $179248.40
DnCON, Inc. $181739.50
WHEREAS, it appears that R & D Enterprises, Inc. of Roseville, Minnesota is the lowest
responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony:
1) The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with R & D Enterprises, Inc. of Roseville,
Minnesota in the name of the City of St. Anthony for the improvement of
Kenzie Terrace Sidewalk according to the plans and specifications therefore
approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2) The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except the deposits of the successful
bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been
signed.
