Northwest Youth and Family Services, like all its ten partner cities, has had to deal with funding cuts in 1991 and now again in 1992 . It is for this reason that NYFS is applying for a 1992 Ramsey County Community Development Block Grant. The spirit of the CDBG program is to provide funding for programs of significant benefit to the community. The success that has resulted from our unique partnership over these many years is most certainly an example of such a community-based program. We ask your support for the NYFS application for the CDBG. Please consider the attached resolution. We hope to be able to attach approved resolutions by all ten cities with our application package that is due to Ramsey County on February 15. If you have any questions please contact me. As has been true since NYFS was founded, we continue to depend on your support in order to provide for the youth and families of our community.
