A RESOLUTION OF THE ST. ANTHONY CITY COUNCIL
DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS FOR
37TH AVENUE N.E. AND PENROD LANE
CONCRETE STREET REHABILITATION
WHEREAS, the City has received plans and specifications for the construction of proposed
improvements:
37th Avenue N.E. Concrete Pavement Rehabilitation, from Silver Lake Road to
Stinson Boulevard. This is an M.S.A.s. designated street and the improvements
will be funded with M.S.A.S. funds.
Penrod Lane N.E. concrete pavement and water main improvements from 37th
Avenue N.E. to 36th Avenue N.E..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony,:
1. The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official newspaper
and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of
such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement shall be published for 21 days, shall specify the work to be done,
shall state that bids will be opened and the responsibility of the bidders will be
considered by the Council at a future date, in the Council Chambers of the City
Hall, City of St. Anthony. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during
consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on
the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed
with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or
certified check payable to the Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount of such
bid.
