While the selection process for year 2000 projects has not yet been • completed, grant applications for year 2001 projects are now being solicited. We are in the process of reworking the grant request and will be resubmitting a new package for consideration. At its final 1999 meeting in December, the Hennepin County Board designated the Lowry Corridor in north Minneapolis as a Hennepin Community Works Project. We believe this designation shows the commitment by the Board to develop a plan to change Lowry. I am again asking for your support for the Lowry Corridor grant application by sending a new letter addressed to me in support of this grant application. The letter needs to be sent to me by January 20, 2000. Thank you for your assistance with this grant application. If you need assistance with the letter or would like additional information on this project, please contact Carol Lezotte at 612-348-2997. Sincerely, 1ki Mar J.
