A RESOLUTION SETTING THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY PROPOSED 2001 TAX LEVY
AND BUDGET IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRUTH IN TAXATION ACT
WHEREAS, the Truth in Taxation Law requires that the City of St. Anthony provide
Hennepin and Ramsey Counties with a proposed certified 2001 tax levy
and budget; and
WHEREAS, the information required for the City Council to make a definitive tax levy
cannot be determined until the City of St. Anthony holds its public hearings;
and
WHEREAS, the furnishing of this proposed tax levy and budget is made contingent upon any
revisions being allowed if the current law is modified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
•
1) The collectible 2001 proposed property tax levy is:
Property Tax Levy $2,112,768
Less: H.A.C.A. ( 349,293)
Proposed General Fund Levy $1,763,475
Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 20,000
Less: H.A.C.A. ( 4,597)
Proposed Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 15,403
Special Assessment/Road Improvements $ 272,189
Total 2001 Proposed Tax Levy $2,051,067
2) The 2001 General Fund Proposed Budget totals $3,519,875
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that:
1) The hearing date for discussion of the 2001 proposed levy and budget is set at
• December 11, 2000, 7:00 P.M. in its Council Chambers and if necessary be
reconvened on December 20, 2000, 7:00 P.M. in its Council Chambers.

• 2) The subsequent hearing date to adopt the City's final property tax levy and budget
shall be announced prior to completion of its December 11, 2000 hearing, or if
necessary, prior to its completion of the December 20, 2000 reconvened hearing.
