A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY 2001 TAX LEVY
AND BUDGET IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRUTH IN TAXATION ACT
WHEREAS, the Truth in Taxation Law requires the City of St. Anthony provide
Hennepin and Ramsey Counties with a certified 2001 tax levy and budget;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the City Manager's proposed 2001 budget;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a Public Hearing on December 11, 2000, 7:00 P.M. in
its Council Chambers to discuss the tax levy with the residents of St. Anthony;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a subsequent meeting on December 20, 2000, 7:00 P.M.
• in its Council Chambers to adopt the final 2001 property tax levy and budget;
and
WHEREAS, the information required for the City to calculate a definitive tax levy has been
collected.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
1) The 2001 property tax levy is:
Property Tax Levy $2,112,768
Less: H.A.C.A. ( 349,293)
Total General Fund Levy $1,763,475
Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 20,000
Less: H.A.C.A. ( 4,597)
Total Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 15,403
Special Assessment/Road Improvements 272,189
• Total 2001 Tax Levy $2,051,067
2) The 2001 Total Operating Budget totals $7,138,175
