A RESOLUTION TO REZONE LOT 3, BLOCK 1, APACHE TERRACE, 2ND ADDITION
FROM INDUSTRIAL TO COMMERCIAL
WHEREAS, TOLD Development Company(the petitioner), representing Walgreens, plans to
construct a 14,490 square foot building at the corner of Silver Lake Road and 37th
Avenue Northeast;
WHEREAS, the petitioner is requesting that Lot 3, Block 1, Apache Terrace, 2nd Addition be
combined with Lot 2, Block 2, Apache Terrace(Amoco site);
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Planning Commission on December 19, 2000;
WHEREAS, the petitioner's intent to purchase both properties is contingent upon necessary city
approvals;
WHEREAS, the rezoning will not be detrimental to the City;
WHEREAS, the rezoned area will provide a service to residents in the northern portion of St. Anthony;
• WHEREAS, the area is consistent with the general development anticipated in the Comprehensive
Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that in agreement with the findings of the Planning
Commission at their December 19, 2000, meeting, the City Council of the City of St. Anthony hereby
approves the rezoning of the property located at Lot 3, Block 1, Apache Terrace Addition, from an
Industrial to a Commercial zoning district.
