A RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE
RE-ROOF OF THE WATER FILTRATION BUILDING
WHEREAS, the St. Anthony City Council acknowledged the need to re-roof the water filtration
building; and
WHEREAS, bids were sought for said project and eleven bids were received as follows:

WHEREAS, bids were opened and tabulated by the engineering firm of SEH, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony hereby
awards the bid for the re-roof of the water filtration building in the amount of$49,070 to the lowest
bidder, Palmer West.

Dear Jay:
Bids were opened for the above referenced project at the offices of the City of St. Anthony at 2:00
p.m. on Tuesday, September 11,2001. A total of 11 bids were received; see `Exhibit A' attached.
It is our opinion that Palmer West Construction Co., Inc. (PWC) is the lowest
responsive/responsible bidder. PWC has confirmed to us their ability and willingness to complete
the work in a timely manner. We recommend award of a contract for construction to PWC in the
full amount of the base bid of$49,070.00.
• Upon your direction, we will prepare an Owner/Contractor Agreement based on the contract
document in the Project Manual and forward to the Contractor for signature_
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
