A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
TO INCLUDE THE USE OF WAX IN THE PRODUCTION OF CANDLES
AND THE PRODUCTION OF HOME FRAGRANCE PRODUCTS
IN LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS
WHEREAS, 2801-37th Avenue NE is located in a light industrial zoning district; and
WHEREAS, the use of wax in the production of candles and the production of home fragrance
products at that location is not presently included in the list of permitted uses in a
light industrial zoning district; and
WHEREAS, Ken Solie, of Village North, has requested an ordinance amendment to include
said uses in a Light Industrial zoning district in the City Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the St. Anthony Planning Commission on
November 20, 2001 and the Planning Commission recommended Council's
• approval of said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony
hereby approves the request from Ken Solie, Village North, for an ordinance amendment to
include the use of wax in the production of candles and the production of home fragrance
products.
