A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CLEANING SERVICE
FOR THE ST. ANTHONY CITY HALL/COMMUNITY CENTER
WHEREAS, the current cleaning service contract for the St. Anthony City Hall/Community Center
will expire on December 31, 2001; and
WHEREAS, the City sought bids and two bids were received for this service as follows:
Town and Country Cleaning Services $48,760 per year
Compton Cleaning Service Company $45,240 per year
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE City Council of the City of St. Anthony
• hereby approves the bid from Compton Cleaning Service in the amount of$45,240 per year for
cleaning services at the St. Anthony City Hall/Community Center for 2002 and 2003.

ITEM: Cleaning Service Contract
The City advertised and received two (2) bids for the cleaning service contract for
City Hall, Police Department and all of Community Services common areas. The
bid opening was on November 16, 2001 with the following results.
• ❑ Town and Country Cleaning Services - $48,760 per year
❑ Compton Cleaning Service Company - $45,240 per year
It is my recommendation that the City continue using Compton Cleaning Service
for the next two years, 2002 and 2003. They have indicated that the contract price
will remain the same for both 2002 and 2003.
Compton has not increased their yearly cleaning fees since 1997.
