A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY 2002 TAX LEVY
AND BUDGET IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRUTH IN TAXATION ACT
WHEREAS, the Truth in Taxation Law requires the City of St. Anthony provide
Hennepin and Ramsey Counties with a certified 2002 tax levy and budget;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the City Manager's proposed 2002 budget;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a Public Hearing on December 11, 2001, 7:00 P.M. in
its Council Chambers to discuss the tax levy with the residents of St. Anthony;
and
• WHEREAS, the information required for the City to calculate a definitive tax levy has been
collected.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that:
1) The 2002 property tax levy is:
Property Tax Levy Limit $2,199,967
Road Improvement Levy $ 342,757
Tax Abatement Levy/Central Park $ 29,642
PERA Rate Increase Levy $—?,500
$2,579,866
2) HRA Levy 55,500
Total 2002 Tax Levy $2,635,366
3) The 2002 Total Operating Budget totals$7,273,600
