A RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF
SANITARY SEWER AND WATER SYSTEM STUDIES
WHEREAS, it is proposed to redevelop Apache Plaza and the St. Anthony Shopping
Center;
WHEREAS, this redevelopment proposes the construction of 400 to 700 new
residential units within St. Anthony Village;
WHEREAS, the City desires to evaluate the impact of these additional units on the
City's existing sanitary sewer and water supply systems;
WHEREAS, the City desires to define the capital expenditures necessary to
accommodate the proposed redevelopment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ST.
ANTHONY, MINNESOTA:
That the proposed sanitary sewer and water system studies be referred to WSB &
Associates, Inc. and that they are instructed to report to Council with all convenient speed
advising the Council in a preliminary way as to the public expenditures anticipated
resulting from the redevelopment of Apache Plaza and the St. Anthony Shopping Center.
These studies will define the necessary, cost-effective, and feasible improvements and as
to whether these improvements should best be made as proposed or in connection with
some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement recommended.
