RESOLUTION 02 - 046
A RESOLUTION CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION ON THE
QUESTION OF ISSUANCE OF ON-SALE LIQUOR LICENSES
AND ON THE QUESTION OF ISSUANCE OF SUNDAY
ON-SALE LIQUOR LICENSES
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony, Minnesota, as follows:
1. This Council desires to submit to the voters of the City the questions of whether
the City should be authorized to issue liquor licenses to hotels and restaurants as
provided in Minnesota Statutes, Section 340A.601, and to issue Sunday on-sale
liquor licenses as provided in Minnesota Statutes, Section 340A.504.
2. The questions shall be submitted to the vote of the qualified electors of the City at
a special election to be held on November 5, 2002 in conjunction with the state
general election.
3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of the special
• election to be given as required by Minnesota Statutes, Section 205.16.
4. The questions to be submitted to the voters for the special election shall be in
substantially the following form:
Shall the City of St. Anthony be authorized to issue on-sale liquor licenses to
J hotels and restaurants as provided in Minnesota Statutes, Section 340A.601?
Shall the City of St. Anthony be authorized to issue Sunday on-sale liquor licenses
as provided in Minnesota Statutes, Section 340A.504?
