• RESOLUTION 03-099
A RESOLUTION APPROVING INSTALLATION OF A TELECOMMUNICATIONS FACILITY
AT THE CITY'S WATER TANK LOCATED AT:
WHEREAS, Sprint Spectrum L.P.("Sprint PCS")desires to install a telecommunications
facility at the City's water tank;and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes said facility will provide a source of
rental income and improve wireless communications and emergency
communication service for the City;and
WHEREAS, the mutually agreed upon lease terms for the water tank located at 3109
33anAve, St.Anthony,MN 55418 (Sprint Site#: MS60XC271B—St.Anthony
Water Tower)are as follows:
Initial lease term: (5)five years
Renewal term: (4)four,(5)year,automatic renewal terms
Rent: $1400 per month
Annual Rent Escalator: (4%)Four percent
WHEREAS, the mutually agreed Sprint equipment to be installed are as follows:
A(15'X 25')fifteen by twenty-five foot lease area(375 Sq.ft.)three hundred,
seventy-five square feet of ground space to accommodate Sprint's Equipment
rack which will be located on the west side of the City's existing fenced area at
the base of the water tank.
• A total installation of up to(12)twelve panel antennas and coaxial cable
required for each antenna:
• (4)four panel antennas mounted at 85'AGL,which is
will be attached to the top railing of the water tank and
• (8)eight panel antennas mounted at 63'AGL,which will be attached
to the lower catwalk of the water tank.
WHEREAS,cost of utilities,phone lines,necessary improvements and planning and zoning expenses will
be paid for by Sprint Spectrum L.P.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the City Council of the City of St.Anthony hereby
approves installation of a telecommunications facility at the site of the City's water tank located at:3109
33rd Ave.N.E. St.Anthony,MN 55418,under the conditions and lease terms as stated above,which were
mutually agreed upon by the City of St.Anthony and LCC International/Sprint Spectrum L.P. ("Sprint
PCS").. No further zoning shall be required by Sprint Spectrum,L.P.("Sprint PCS")for Sprint Site#:
MS60XC271B—St.Anthony Water Tower.
