A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR 39" AVENUE PHASE 3
RECONSTRUCTION STREET, SANITARY SEWER, WATER MAIN,
STORM SEWER, AND APPURTENANT WORK
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan
for the above-referenced project,bids were received, opened and tabulated
according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement:

1 Forest Lake Contracting $825,703.40
2 Park Construction $876,543.06
2 Northdale Construction, Inc. $913,811.25
Engineer's Opinion of Cost $768,968.25
• WHEREAS, it appears that Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. of Forest Lake, MN is the lowest
responsible bidder.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony:
1. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
with Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. in the amount of$825,703.40 in the name of the City of
St. Anthony, Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above-referenced project
according to the plans and specifications, therefore, approved by the City Council and on file
in the office of the City Clerk.

3. The Engineer, WSB &Associates, Inc., is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful
bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
