A RESOLUTION FOR DENIAL OF A COMMERCIAL PARKING REQUIREMENT
VARIANCE FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3803 SILVER LAKE ROAD
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held for this variance request before the City of St.
Anthony Planning Commission on March 21, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony Planning Commission listed its Findings of Fact as
part of their recommendation to the St. Anthony City Council; and
WHEREAS, on March 28, 2006 at the regularly scheduled City Council the City Council
reviewed the Planning Commission's Findings of Fact and heard a project
description from the Developer; and
WHEREAS, the City Council found that the Developers did not have an undue
hardship based on the unique character of the site, that the undue
hardship was created by the property owner, that the variance request
was based on economic hardship, and that the Developer could eliminate
the need for a parking variance by reducing the size of the proposed
building; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of St. Anthony does hereby deny the
Developer's variance request for commercial parking at 3803 Silver Lake
Road. -
