RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2008 CITY OF ST. ANTHONY COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN UPDATE DRAFT FOR SUBMISSION TO ADJACENT CITIES,COUNTIES,
WATERSHED DISTRICTS AND SCHOOL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, The City of St.Anthony is required by Minnesota Statutes to complete
and submit an update to its Comprehensive Land Use Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council selected a land use planning consultant through the
Request for Proposal process for the update project, and
WHEREAS, the City Council appointed a 12-member task force to review and advise
on land us planning issues that need to be addressed in the 2008 Comp
Plan Update;and
WHEREAS, the planning consultant,the task force and staff have prepared a draft of
the 2008 update to the City's Comprehensive Plan for a 6-month review
and comment period as required by the Metropolitan Council for
• adjacent cities,counties,watershed districts and school district;and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony does
hereby approve the submittal of the draft of the City's 2008
Comprehensive Land Use Plan Update for a 6-month review and
comment period as required by the Metropolitan Council for adjacent
cities,counties,watershed districts and school district.
