RESOLUTION 06-095
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR POLICE
SERVICES WITH THE CITY OF LAUDERDALE WITH INCREASING THE
CONTRACT HOURS TO 24 FROM 16 HOURS WITH THE CONTINGENCY THAT
THE CITY OF LAUDERDALE APPROVES THE AMENDED JOINT POWERS
AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony and the City of Lauderdale entered into a joint
powers agreement whereby the City of St. Anthony agreed to provide 16 '
hours of police service for the City of Lauderdale for the period 2007
through 2009; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lauderdale requests to amend the current joint powers
agreement to increase the police services to 24 hours from the original 16
hours.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of St. Anthony approves the
• addendum amending section III. SERVICES and section V. PAYMENT
FOR SERVCIES of the original joint powers agreement with the City of
Lauderdale dated 01/01/07 through 12/31/09.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that:
1) This approval is contingent upon the City of Lauderdale approving the
addendum to the joint power agreement.
2) The 2007 General Fund Operating Fund Budget for revenues and
expenditures is amended/increased by $250,200 to reflect the change in the
Lauderdale contract.
