RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROPOSAL&BID FROM AMERICAN LEGAL
PUBLISHING&LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA CITIES TO RE-CODIFY THE CITY CODE
WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony,during its 2007 Goal Setting Retreat, determined
that it had been more than ten (10) years since the City's Code of
Ordinances had been reviewed and re-codified; and
WHEREAS, the City Council identified the re-codification of the City's Code of
Ordinances as a goal for 2007 and directed staff to research re-codification
and seek proposals for re-codification; and
WHEREAS, staff presented City Council with the requested re-codification
information and a proposal from American Legal Publishing/League of
Minnesota Cities at the April 10, 2007 Council meeting;and
WHEREAS, staff was also directed to received comments from the Planning
Commission regarding the re-codification proposal;and
WHEREAS, staff presented additional information from American Legal Publishing
and the Planning Commission at the May 31,2007 Council worksession;
and
• WHEREAS, staff have been further directed to add this item to the June 12, 2007 City
Council Meeting agenda for Council consideration and approval;and
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of St. Anthony has
completed its consideration of the proposal to re-codify the City's Code of
Ordinances and approves the proposal from American Legal Publishing dated
January 24, 2007.
