A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION
OF PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS,AND ADVERTISING FOR BIDS
FOR TREE REMOVAL ALONG SILVER LAKE ROAD
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has proposed to improve Silver Lake Road from St. Anthony
Boulevard N.E. to 37`h Avenue N.E. within the City of St. Anthony.
WHEREAS, for roadway and public utility improvements to occur in 2008, it is desirable to
relocate private utilities in 2007 to reduce potential for private utility conflicts during
the proposed construction work.
WHEREAS, it is necessary to perform all tree removal along Silver Lake Road that has been
identified in the project removal plans as prepared by Hennepin County as part of the
Silver Lake Road Reconstruction project to allow utility companies to relocate their
facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony that:
• WSB & Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for performing the design and contract
execution for the tree removal along Silver Lake Road, and that they shall coordinate with
Hennepin County to prepare plans, specifications, and create all contract documents for performing
the work.
