A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR TREE REMOVAL
ON SILVER LAKE ROAD
WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony has solicited bids for the removal of trees on Silver Lake
Road to allow for the undergrounding of private utilities, the following bids were
received complying with the solicitation:

Northeast Tree, Inc. $11,200
Hugo's Tree Care, Inc $11,205
Bluemel's Tree& Landscape, Inc. $19,550
Asplundh Tree Expert Company $20,750
S& S Tree& Horticultural $49,125

WHEREAS, it appears that Northeast Tree Inc. is the lowest responsible bid

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony:
1. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
with Northeast Tree, Inc. in the amount of$11,200.00 in the name of the City of St. Anthony,
Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above-referenced project according to the
solicitation for bids.

® 2. The Engineer, WSB &Associates, Inc., is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful
bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
