ANTHONY VILLAGE RESOLUTION 07-065 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE ENTERING AN INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AGREEMENT WITH JOHNSON CONTROLS WHEREAS, City staff has been working with Johnson Controls in a preliminary project performa and business case analysis to identify areas of concern in the City of St. Anthony's infrastructure and energy efficiency; and WHEREAS, Johnson Controls with the assistance of City staff have completed an initial assessment of the St. Anthony facilities; and WHEREAS, Johnson Controls has indicated the preliminary analysis states that an infrastructure improvement program will generate an estimated energy and operational savings of$46,000 and energy efficiency upgrades could reduce energy costs by $26,600 annually; and • WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony has received a Project Development Agreement (PDA) for an Infrastructure Improvement Program from Johnson Controls where Johnson Controls will evaluate in-depth several areas of the city for improvement; and WHEREAS, Johnson Controls indicates that the final in-depth engineering and operational analysis will provide enough net savings to cover the program development costs; and WHEREAS, the proposed program is in compliance with Minnesota State Statute 471.345; and WHEREAS, if Johnson Controls meets the criteria as state in the agreement and final proposal is not accepted by the City of St. Anthony, the City would pay an amount not to exceed $20,000 within 60 days of receiving the final proposal. • Z:\Council Meet ings\2007\082807\res Johnson controls doc • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony hereby approves entering an Infrastructure Improvement Program Agreement with Johnson Controls and if the City does not accept the final proposal the City agrees to pay an amount not to exceed $20,000 within 60 days of receiving the final proposal.
